John and Christine Alt and their four children, have been missionaries in PNG for about 12 years. In fact, John and Christine met here and got married. They are a Swiss family that lives about 15 minutes away at Kugark station. John has done many things including coordinating pastors, running the station, and preaching around the area and at our English lotu. Christine started as a school teacher and then went into full time work at home. The older girls, Lorena and Chiara have been students at Kudjip and in my music class. Levin is just in kindergarten and now Leandro has joined the family. He is nearly 2 years old. They are a wonderful family. They leave this month for a year furlough in Switzerland. When they return, they are unclear as to weather they will be returning to Kugark or reassigned to another PNG location. Please be in prayer for this sweet family as they transition and continue to serve God where he calls. We will surely miss them!!
