Each year in Australia, there is an all-star series of 3 games of Rugby league. It is called "State of Origin". In this game, two teams play, the Blues from New South Wales (Sydney), and the Maroons, from Queensland. This last Wednesday, Matt and I were able to watch game 2 together on TV at the Chapman's house. We watched it with the Chapman's and about 5 other national friends. In Game 1, the Maroons won in the last few minutes which made Mike and Diane happy. Game 2 we watched in suspense to see if the Blues could even it up. To the delight of Matt and I, they did! They played hard and fast and beat the Maroons with a good margin. Now it is up to game 3 to decide the champions. I probably will wear Matt's jersey again and root for his home team. Go Blues!
