? Severe pityriasis

This poor young woman has a pretty bad skin disease. She came to me with her entire trunk and back covered in scaling, itchy, mildly tender papules and plaques. It did start with one lesion, although that was on her chest. I noticed what seems to be a "christmas tree" pattern, so I decided to call this severe pityriasis rosea. Not being a dermatologist and without a biopsy or even KOH, this was a guess. Hopefully my treatment will help her out. For my medical friends, any thoughts? I can send you a closer picture if you want. Please pray for quick resolution to these lesions. (HIV negative, VDRL n/r, normal white count)
