We are so pleased to have Dr. Imelda Assiago join us on staff at Kudjip hospital! (on the left) She is from Port Moresby and has been a part of the rural medicine program. Steph had us over for dinner with Maggie, another rural registrar, who is here doing a surgery rotation. She has a trial period with us and if all goes well, we will offer her a 6 year contract for her to work with us. We already love her and hope that God's will is that she stays on. We believe it would be a great step towards nationalizing our hospital someday. What better way to reach PNG than through it's own people. Welcome Mel!!
