On Saturday, our station shared a lovely gathering to watch the Radcliffe children get baptized. Priscilla, who is 19, had never been baptized before and wanted to do it in PNG before heading back to college. Josiah and Lydia were in agreement that they should do it as a family. Jim and Kathy were absolutely beaming as their kids one at a time shared their testimoies and some life verses. Then Harmon shared about the meaning of baptism. What a beautiful picture of us trusting in Christ who died, was buried and was raised to life for our salvation! These three students were willing to proclaim to the world that they are believers in Jesus Christ and want to follow him all their days. After the short service where we sang a few songs, we headed to the river. Pastors Harmon and Philip baptized the kids. Then we greeted them afterwards and enjoyed the amazing creation surrounding us. It was a special afternoon.
